First is that it shows the recently opened San Juan mining district and a system of color coding shows miners what areas are friendly for settling and what areas are banded for the Ute reservation

and illustrated some of the earliest sketches of the regions geology and land quality

Condition is good with the entire sheet evenly browned with age
